Metro Rail Transit line 3 (MRT-3) operations were disrupted Monday morning due to power supply failure.

MRT-3 media relations officer Aly Narvaez told reporters that as of 6 a.m., no trains have been inserted on the tracks between North Ave. and the GMA Kamuning northbound stations.

“Clarification lang po, walang passenger unloading dahil hindi pa po nakapag-akyat ng train,” she told reporters.

The power supply of the MRT-3 went normal at about 6:15 a.m. and started to deploy six trains at 6:45 a.m, Narvaez said.

On a daily basis, MRT-3 operations start at 5:30 a.m. with at least five running trains. /cbb
