The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported that a foreign vessel capsized off the coast of Burgos in Ilocos Norte on Saturday.

PCG spokesperson Cmdr. Armand Balilo said that the Coast Guard sent BRP Malabrigo to search and rescue the four missing Vietnamese crew of MV Hung Long 14, which sank at around 9:30 a.m. due to bad weather.

Balilo said that the PCG also rescued 30 fishermen at about 4:30 a.m. after their boat capsized off Zamboanga City due to rough seas and big waves. —Tina G. Santos
