AROUND 70 scuba divers and volunteers participated in the underwater cleanup last Friday morning in the seawaters off Talima, Olango island, Lapu-Lapu City.

The activity was initiated by the Lapu-Lapu City Police Office (LLCPO), through the police scuba team led by Insp. Maria Aurora Rayos, chief of the police community relations of LLCPO.

The Patriot scuba divers, Sujung Sesang divers, Hadsan PSI divers and Coral point divers headed by Emeterio Bonghanoy brought sacks and net bags and scattered themselves in the seawaters off Talima to scour for wastes.
