Bo Sanchez’s Kerygma conference on Nov. 26
Bestselling author and lay evangelist Bo Sanchez will be coming to Cebu for the third annual Kerygma conference on Nov. 26 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
Dubbed “the biggest inspirational conference in the country,” this year’s conference will center its theme on “Glory to Glory (G2G).”
The theme reminds us of the glory of God, said event head Stephen Nellas. Although we humans fall short of God’s glory, we can reclaim that glory, which was originally ours, he added.
The first Kerygma conference was held in Manila in 2007. It is a brainchild of Sanchez, and is a three-day event in Manila and a one-day event in Davao and Cebu.
From around 5,000 participants in 2007 at the Philsports Arena in Pasig, about 15,000 people attended last year’s conference in Manila, Cebu and Davao. In 2009, a one-day conference was started in Cebu. Last year, another was begun in Davao.
According to Nellas, the conference aims to reach out to the people, especially the “unchurched,” to bring them back to the arms of the church.
