Convicted kidnapper Jaybee Sebastian has been transferred to the detention facility of the National Bureau of Investigation  from the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) due to alleged threats to his life, Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II said on Wednesday.

Sebastian, leader of the Commando gang inside the state penitentiary in Muntinlupa City, was taken by personnel of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) to the NBI headquarters in Manila late Tuesday night.
