Tulfo-Teo recommended for confirmation

The ad interim appointment of Tourism Secretary Wanda Corazon Tulfo-Teo has been recommended for confirmation by a panel of the Commission on Appointments.

Teo’s confirmation was unanimously recommended for plenary approval on Wednesday by the CA’s committee on tourism and economic development.

The Tourism Secretary was the second Cabinet member, who confirmation was recommended for plenary approval this Wednesday.

Before Teo, the CA’s committee on transportation and communications also recommended the ad interim appointment of Department of Information and Comminications Technology (DITC) Secretary Rodolfo Salalima.

Two more Cabinet members–National Economic and Development Authority Secretary Ernesto Pernia and Health Secretary Paulyn Jean Roseli-Ubial–are also set to face the CA for confirmation. CBB
