SUBIC, Zambales—A tricycle driver was killed by unidentified gunmen who barged into his house at dawn on Friday (Sept. 9), police said.
Bryan Tejome, 29, a resident of Barangay (village) Asinan Proper here, was shot in the chest and head by three men carrying handguns, said Chief Insp. Leonardo Madrid, commander of Subic police station.
The attack happened at about 2 a.m. while the victim was sleeping with his live-in partner and their four children, Madrid said.
Police said Tejome was among the self-confessed drug dependents who surrendered to the police.
The victim, who died on the spot, sustained seven gunshot wounds while the suspects managed to escape, investigators said.
