Farmer shot dead in front of church in Isabela
LUNA, Isabela – A 56-year-old farmer was shot dead on Saturday (Sept. 10) just before he and his wife were to attend a Mass at 5:20 a.m. in Puroc village here.
Rolando Manuel was shot in the head and torso by motorcycle-riding gunmen, said Chief Insp. Ronald Laggui, Isabela provincial police spokesperson. Manuel’s wife was not hurt.
The police have not yet determined the reason for the attack. CDG
