TODAY, July 12, is the 40th death anniversary of National Artist for Sculpture Guillermo Tolentino. Among his most notable works include the UP Oblation and the Bonifacio Monument in Caloocan.  He also did the seal of the Republic of the Philippines and designed the gold and bronze medals for the Ramon Magsaysay Award.
