The procession started at around 4:41 a.m., with the carriage containing the original image of Jesús Nazareno departing from the Quirino Grandstand to head to the Quiapo Church.

This year’s procession seems to be taking longer than the previous years, as the “dungaw” or the solemn moment shared between the images of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel de San Sebastian and Jesus Nazareno at the Minor Basilica of San Sebastian was held at around 5:45 p.m.
