PPCRV volunteer killed, daughter hurt in Pagadian City ambush

A volunteer of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) transporting election returns was killed in an ambush in Pagadian City before dawn Tuesday.


PPCRV spokesperson Anna de Villa Singson identified the volunteer as Adela Elmida.

Elmida was killed by still unidentified assailants while on her way to a freight company to deliver election returns at 4 a.m.

Her 12-year-old daughter survived the ambush but was injured.
