Similar weather conditions are being observed in Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, and Tarlac, and are expected to persist for the next three hours.

Meanwhile, light to moderate rains with occasional heavy downpours are affecting Pampanga, which may also continue for three hours.

In a separate advisory, Pagasa warned residents of Cavite, Batangas, Rizal, Laguna, and Quezon to expect moderate to heavy rain showers with thunderstorms over the next two hours.

Meanwhile, downpours continue to affect Metro Manila, particularly Quezon City, Valenzuela, Malabon, San Juan, and Caloocan.

Earlier, Pagasa warned the public that rain would persist across most parts of the country due to the combined effects of the southwest monsoon and the trough or extension of Severe Tropical Storm Bising (international name: Danas)./mcm
