There is a Manuel A. Roxas II in the official alumni directory of the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania.
To again prove that Roxas was a graduate of the prestigious business school, his camp released a photo of the “Wharton Alumni Directory 2006” that listed Roxas, who was then a senator, as its alumnus.

The debate on the Liberal Party standard-bearer’s Wharton degree surfaced when Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte claimed that Roxas was lying about his educational attainment.

Duterte claimed that Roxas is not a “Wharton graduate” but only a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
He said one can only be called a Wharton graduate if he or she had completed a master’s degree at the business school. CDG
