The state weather bureau on Saturday warned the public that a thunderstorm may develop over Metro Manila for the next 12 hours.

In an advisory issued before noon Saturday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said another thunderstorm is likely to develop in the metropolis, which may trigger floods.

In its Saturday weather advisory, Pagasa said cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms would be experienced over Metro Manila, Ilocos region, Calamba, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon (Calabarzon), Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan (Mimaropa), Bicol region, Visayas and Mindanao.
