De Lima expresses sympathy for killed PH envoy
Justice Secretary Leila de Lima has expressed her “deepest personal sympathies” on the death of her friend Ambassador Domingo Lucenario Jr., the Philippine envoy to Pakistan who was killed in a helicopter crash in the country’s Naltar Valley area on Friday.

In a statement, De Lima said Lucenario and his wife Nida were her batchmates at San Beda Law School.
“I wish to express my sorrow and deepest sympathies on the untimely demise of Amb. Domingo “Doy” Lucenario Jr.,” De Lima said.
“We remain to be friends. I know Amb. Doyto to be a very upright person and a dedicated husband and father, and career diplomat. Very professional and conscientious. Our batch, class 1B, will deeply miss him,” she added.
Lucenario was 54 years old.
