Senate subcommittee resumes Binay hearing
The Senate blue ribbon subcommittee resumed its hearing Thursday on the alleged anomalies committed by past and present officials of Makati City with former city vice mayor Ernesto Mercado still at the witness stand.
It was Mercado, who accused Vice President Jejomar Binay of receiving kickbacks and using dummies allegedly to hide his wealth when he was still the city mayor.
Aside from Mercado, other resource persons were officials of the Commission on Audit, former officials of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, officials of Alphaland Corporation and a certain Ramon Recto, among others. IDL
