/ 12:18 AM December 23, 2014

Four public hospitals in Quezon City will receive a financial boost from the local government as the city council has authorized Mayor Herbert Bautista to allot P800,000 for the medical expenses of residents seeking treatment.

The city council recently passed Resolution No. 6154 authorizing Bautista to enter into a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the East Avenue Medical Center, National Kidney and Transplant Institute, National Children’s Hospital, and Philippine Heart Center.

Under the MOA, the city government will allot P200,000 each to the four hospitals for the medical expenses of residents confined in the facility or seeking treatment. Jaymee T. Gamil
