Tech gadgets seized in Bilibid

MANILA, Philippines—The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) has seized communication gadgets inside the New Bilibid Prisons in a raid conducted over the weekend.

In a report submitted by BuCor Director Franklin Jesus Bucayu to Justice Secretary Leila De Lima, the gadgets confiscated were:

  • 11 signal boosters
  • 4 booster charges
  • 46 aluminum outdoor antennas
  • 4 “My Bro” Wifi
  • 4 Wifi antennas
  • 9 repeaters
  • 7 units of power supply
  • 5 rolls of electrical wires
  • 1 splitter
  • distributor

During the raid, the NBP personnel also confiscated five packs of marijuana leaves hidden in a courier package.
