Bomb threat hits Claret School in QC—reports

quezon city mapMANILA, Philippines―A bomb threat hit Claret School of Quezon City Thursday morning forcing the immediate suspension of classes and evacuation of students, according to radio reports.

Senior Police Officer 4 Victor de Leon of the Quezon City Police District was quoted in the reports as saying that they received a call regarding the threat around 9 a.m.

Students were immediately evacuated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, which was adjacent to the school. They were later sent home.

The police later ruled that the threat was a hoax as no bomb was found in the school’s vicinity.
