MANILA, Philippines — Motorists are advised to take alternate routes starting Friday as some major roads will undergo three-day repair in Pasig and Quezon City.
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will conduct road reblocking on selected hours of Friday until Monday, August 25, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said in its latest advisory.
From 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. on these days, motorists are told to avoid:
- Outermost southbound lane of C5 road from Julia Vargas to C.J. Caparas Street
- Second southbound lane of Araneta Avenue from Del Monte Avenue to Maria Clara Street
- Third southbound lane of E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue C5 between Mercury and Eastwood Avenue
- Third northbound lane of Fairview Avenue from Doña Carmen to Winston Street
- First westbound lane of Congressional Avenue from Mindanao Avenue to April Street
