LPA is now Tropical Depression ‘Inday’

MANILA, Philippines–Gaining strength in the seas off eastern Philippines, the low pressure area has intensified into tropical depression “Inday,” the weather bureau said.

In its weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that “Inday” was last spotted at 870 kilometers east of Appari, Cagayan.

Pagasa added that “Inday” has maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and moves at a pace of 15 kph northwest.
