MANILA, Philippines – With the southwest monsoon hovering over several provinces, rains are set to fall on Monday, the weather bureau said.
In its weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the southwest monsoon (Habagat) is affecting the western part of Luzon and Visayas.
Pagasa added that Panay Island and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Mindoro and Palawan would experience occasional rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
