MANILA, Philippines – Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. slammed Justice Secretary Leila de Lima over her “delicadeza” statement concerning his plans to seek higher office in the 2016 elections.
(It seems that our DOJ secretary would talk even under the light of a flashlight)
This was how Revilla reacted on Tuesday to De Lima’s statement that while he could run for higher office in 2016, “the matter is actually addressed to his sense of delicadeza.”
Revilla asked.
“Yan ay pasasalamat at hindi pangangampanya. Hindi ko kailangang mangampanya, ang layo pa ng election…” he said.
Even an ordinary person, the senator said, could run for public office.
(We have not been proven guilty and we will prove that we are not guilty of what we’re being accused of.)
