Suspected thief nabbed on Pasong Tirad Street in Makati

MANILA, Philippines—Disturbing an erstwhile quiet night in a neighbourhood in Barangay La Paz, Makati City, vigilant citizens nabbed a suspect who allegedly snatched a kid’s cellular phone.
Barangay Captain Ferdinand Concepcion, who is still uncertain of the assailant’s identity, said the suspect snatched the phone on Mola Street then tried to escape by barging in and hide inside the house of Matthew Barios on nearby Pasong Tirad Street.
Members of Barios’ household said the suspect rushed to their garage but was unable to go inside the house.
Concepcion and his crew of vanguards immediately rushed to the scene and apprehended the suspect.
As of posting time, the suspect is being brought to the nearest police station in the area.
