Small fire alarms Mola Street in Makati on Tuesday night

MANILA, Philippines—A small fire could not spark a bedlam on a Makati street as firefighters immediately put out the incident Tuesday night.

Firefighters announced the fire that erupted at the backyard of the house of Lorenzo Estrada at the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and Mola St. in Makati City was under control at 7:44 pm and was “fire out” at 7:49 pm.

Residents who rushed to the scene first said that the fire was already contained inside concrete walls and was slowly downsized after they bombarded it with buckets of water.
