MANILA, Philippines—He cannot sing, 33-year-old Bar passer Nat King Coles said.
The social media was abuzz after his name was included on the list of successful 2013 Bar examinees.

His father was the one who decided to name him after his favorite singer.

Their family name is pronounced “Co-les,” he said.

This is the second time he took the Bar examination. He said he was surprised of the netizen’s reaction about his name.

“I only learned it through my sister. I do not use twitter,” he said.

Coles is a professor at the Eastern Samar State University.
