Trillanes: Estrada should name names
MANILA, Philippines — Senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada should name the senators, who he said had also been approached and offered projects by Ruby Tuason, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said on Wednesday.
Estrada and Tuason are both facing plunder charges at the Office of the Ombudsman over the P10-billion pork barrel fund scam.
“Sa akin sana sinabi n’ya sa floor (For me, he should have named them on the floor), nobody was stopping him,” Trillanes told reporters when asked about Estrada’s claim when he stood on the floor Tuesday that some senators had also been offered projects by Tuason.
“Sana ho sinabi nya kung sinu-sino ’yun. Para tayo kasing nagba-blind item dito,” he added.
Trillanes said nobody was also stopping Estrada to attend the hearing of the blue ribbon committee and rebut Tuason’s testimony that she had personally delivered commissions to Estrada in his office in the Senate and his residence in San Juan City.

“Sana ganun na lang. Ayoko ko na kasing blind item ang dating or parang nagti-threaten ka o parang nagle-leverage ka against somebody. Might as well come out in the open if you have something to say,” he further said.
