She believes her accomplishments with the non-government agencies like the Children’s Legal Bureau, Bantay Banay and Child Protect Movement helped her win the search.

A native of Tayasan, Negros Oriental, Yosores finished various courses, such as a BS in Commerce from Foundation University, Dumaguete in 1989, BS in Accountancy from the University of Cebu in 1996, Masters in Public Administration from the University of the Visayas in 2001, Bachelor of Laws in 2005 and BS in Criminology in 2006 from UV.

Yosores and nine other policemen, including SPO2 Rodito Torrevillas Viovicente of Lapu-Lapu City, were feted with the winners of the Search for Outstanding Teachers and The Outstanding Philippine Soldiers dubbed as Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos last Sept. 5 as one of the highlights of Metrobank’s anniversary celebration.

Each of them received P300,000 cash prize and a specially designed trophy from Metrobank Foundation.

The eight other policemen who made it to the top 10 list are Police Supt. Edgar Alan Omas Okubo of Quezon City, Chief Insp. Carlo Magno Mercado Manuel of Manila, Senior Insp. Arlan Lim Delumpines of Zamboanga City, SPO1 Edgardo Abastar Figuracion II of Zamboanga del Sur, SPO1 Raquel Ramos Aniwasal of Batangas, SPO4 Teofilo Siao Juanata Jr. of Pangasinan, SPO2 Oscar Morales Angeles Jr. of Marikina City, SPO2 Rodito Torrevillas Viovicente of Lapu-Lapu City and SPO1 Eduardo De Guzman Covarrubias of Zamboanga City.

“Being true to our social contract of promoting excellence in the police force and contributing to the transformation program of the Philippine National Police, we are proud to present to the entire nation the PNP’s finest men and women,” said Metrobank Foundation president Aniceto Sobrepeña.
