Moonwalk participants urged to wear ‘pinkiest’ in costume contest

THE Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. (RAFI) is sponsoring a costume contest as one of the highlights of the “Moonwalk 2013: A Walk for Breast Cancer Awareness” on Oct. 19.

RAFI encouraged the participants to wear their “pinkiest” costume for a chance to win P2,500.

Participants may take photos of themselves during the walk and email their best photo to [email protected]. with their name and contact numbers not later than Oct. 22. Only one photo is allowed per participant.

RAFI will post the top 20 photos on its Facebook page under the album Moonwalk 2013. Only those photos with “likes” in Facebook from Oct. 23-30 will be counted in the final judging.

The winner will be announced on Oct. 31.

The criteria for judging include originality and creativity (40 percent), social media impact/Facebook likes (40 percent) and relevance of the costume to the cause (20 percent).

Meanwhile, the walk will start at 6 p.m. at the Fuente Osmeña Circle and end at the Plaza Independencia, where Cebuano bands will perform.
