Did you know: Under-5 mortality rate in Metro Manila

Among the country’s regions, the National Capital Region (Metro Manila) posted the lowest under-5 mortality rate, or the probability of a child dying before reaching the age of 5 years, with estimated 20 children deaths for every 1,000 live births, according to the recent Family Health Survey.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
