Young man accused of abducting girl
POLICE arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly abducting a 14-year-old girl in barangay Kawi, Oslob town, southern Cebu.
Valerio Vequiso was with the girl when he was arrested around 11 p.m. last Monday.
The girl’s relatives went to the police to complain that Vequiso abducted the girl around 9 p.m. Sunday.

SPO3 Job Servida of Oslob police said there was really abduction in the incident since the girl admitted that she went with the man voluntarily.

The girl admitted that she and the man had a relationship, Servida said.
Servida said police nonetheless arrested Vequiso since the girl is still a minor. The girl was brought to a hospital in Cebu City for a medical check-up./Correspondent Joy Cherry S. Quito
