Man stabs partner

A 42-YEAR-OLD woman was critically wounded after she was stabbed in the neck by her live-in partner in barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City.

Marites Igot and Henry Aying, 52, were arguing in their house when the stabbing occurred past 9 p.m. last Wednesday.

Police said jealousy was the cause of the fight and that Aying accused the woman of having an affair, a charge she denied.

Igot was gone when police went to the couple’s house after the attack.
