Only 5% of applicants passed this year’s PMA entrance exam
MANILA, Philippines — Just over 1,000 individuals have passed this year’s Philippine Military Academy Entrance Exam (PMAEE) based on the results released on Wednesday.
In a statement, PMA announced that 1,099 of the 21,796—or just 5 percent—of those who applied passed the exam.
According to the academy, it conducted the PMAEE in various locations nationwide from August 10 to September 22.

PMA said the passers will undergo the next phase of its cadet admission screening, which consists of complete physical, medical, and neuropsychiatry examinations. This will be conducted at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Medical Center in Camp Victoriano K. Luna., V. Luna Avenue, Quezon City.
“The selection process of the incoming PMA Class of 2029 is expected to run until the 1st Quarter of CY 2025 in preparation for their admission tentatively on June 2025,” the academy disclosed.
