MANILA, Philippines — The Land Transportation Office (LTO) is bringing its mobile services to selected areas in line with the President’s order to make government transactions more convenient.

LTO chief Vigor Mendoza II said on Tuesday that they were finalizing the details on the deployment of the E-Patrol Services based on which areas needed these most.

“This is part of our initiative to make all LTO services more accessible to the community. Through our E-Patrol Services, people even in far-flung areas can conveniently access important LTO services,” he said in a statement.

Among the services being offered under the E-Patrol Services are the renewal of documents like driver’s license and motor vehicle registration.

According to Mendoza, deployment will be done “as frequently as possible across the country” to help motorists, vehicle owners and drivers comply with land transportation regulations through hassle-free transactions.

“We will expand our E-Patrol Services so that if possible, our countrymen will no longer have to go to the LTO district offices. Instead of going to LTO offices, the LTO will be the one going to the barangays (villages), especially those in far-flung areas, to provide services to our countrymen,” he said.
