‘Music lover’ Marcos deems Coldplay concert was ‘unmissable’
MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday called himself a music lover, saying that the Coldplay concert in the Philippine Arena could not be missed.
Marcos’ attendance at the British rock band’s concert sparked criticism for using the presidential helicopter.

“By now, alam niyo na na music lover talaga ako (you all know that I’m really a music lover); I have been for a long time. I studied music for many years. And to have somebody like Coldplay, unmissable dapat ‘yun, cannot miss,” said Marcos in an ambush interview.
The President called the show “fantastic.”
