Marcos urges to let Comelec validate Cha-cha signatures

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday said that it is best to allow the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to do their job when it comes to the people’s initiative to amend the Constitution.

Marcos said that if a signature was bought with money, it could not be counted.

“We will just let Comelec do their job, do their work to validate the signatures, and if there’s suspicion, at may ganun nga, hindi talaga mabibilang ang signature na ‘yun,” said Marcos in an ambush interview.
