P12M marijuana seized in Isabela buy-bust
CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela — Police seized P12 million worth of dried marijuana bricks from four alleged drug dealers after a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, Nov. 28, in Quezon town, Isabela.
Police Brigadier General Christopher Birung, Cagayan Valley regional police director, said the four men from nearby Tabuk City in Kalinga were caught while selling the contraband to an undercover agent.
Authorities withheld the names of the suspects, including their leader.
Police said they discovered the marijuana inside six boxes, which yielded 66 wrapped marijuana bricks during the inventory.
Also seized were a 9-mm gun, a magazine, and boodle money.
