MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) warned the public against a misleading Facebook page using its name and logo.

The deceptive page operates under the name “DOH Health News-Philippines,” according to the DOH’s advisory issued Tuesday, November 21.

“The said Facebook page is fake and is not in any way or form affiliated with DOH,” it also said.

“For official DOH posts and announcements, the public is advised to refer to our official Website, Facebook, and Twitter,” it added.

Just over the weekend, the DOH cautioned the public against deceptive social media accounts imitating the agency’s official COVID-19 vaccination registry website.
