PDEA seizes P3.4 million worth of shabu in Pasay City

MANILA, Philippines — Authorities arrested a 26-year-old man and seized P3.4 million worth of shabu in a police operation in Pasay City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Thursday.
In a report, PDEA said its anti-narcotics operatives identified Nasrodin Baulo, a vendor and resident of Barangay 187.
Authorities collared him in an entrapment operation at a shopping center’s parking lot in Barangay 79 on July 4.
Confiscated from him were 500 grams of crystal meth or “shabu,” amounting to P3,400,000, and buy-bust money worth P1,000.
Baulo is currently under police custody and will face complaints for violating Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
