2 drug suspects busted in Las Piñas City sting, over P800,000 shabu seized
MANILA, Philippines — Police seized nearly P900,000 worth of crystal meth or “shabu” and arrested two drug suspects following a buy-bust operation in Las Piñas City on Tuesday.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said its District Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) operatives and other law enforcement units arrested Annie Dacut Evalla, 29, and Jenden Queen Romobio, 34, along Manukan St., Manuyo Dos, on Tuesday afternoon.

Confiscated from the suspects — who were considered high-value individuals — were 130 grams of shabu worth an estimated P884,000, and the buy-bust money.
Evalla and Romobio will face a formal complaint for violating Sections 5, 11, and 26 of Section 2 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.
