Fire breaks out at Central Bank

MANILA, Philippines – A fire of still undetermined origin gutted a storage area of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas in Quezon City, at 11:59 a.m this morning, a member of the Bureau of Fire Protection said Friday.

The fire reached the second alarm, and no one was reportedly hurt, Fire Officer 1 Rean Recato said.

Investigation on the cause of the fire is still ongoing, she said.

Seven fire trucks were deployed. The fire was declared out at 12:22 p.m.
