2 dead, 2 hurt in Cavite road crash

The Philippine National Police in Cavite province has advised motorists to check on and use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion in the towns of Indang, Amadeo, Tanza and Trece Martires City due to the special congressional election on Saturday, Feb. 25.

LUCENA CITY — Two motorcyclists died and two others were injured in a road crash early Friday, April 28, in Tanza town in Cavite province.

Tanza police reported that Dave Urbino was driving his motorcycle around 1:30 a.m. in Barangay Paradahan 1 and allegedly occupied the opposite lane, ran against the flow of traffic, and hit two other motorcycles, one of them driven by Aidrian Busilig.

Urbino’s motorcycle subsequently crashed into an oncoming motorcycle driven by Ryan Austria and with a backrider, Rose Anne Velasco.

FEATURED STORIES

The four motorcycle riders suffered injuries and were rushed to the hospital, but Urbino and Austria  died while undergoing treatment.
