P510,000 worth shabu seized from 2 high-value targets in Camarines Norte

An anti-illegal drugs team arrested a high-value drug personality and seized P345,000 worth of "shabu" (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in Daet town in Camarines Norte late Thursday, March 2.

LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested two high-value drug personalities and recovered P510,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) on Saturday, March 11, in Jose Panganiban town in Camarines Norte province.

In a report on Sunday, March 12, Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of Bicol police, identified the suspects as Marlo Conge, 22, of Pasacao town in Camarines Sur; and Samuel Abdul, 32, a native of Jose Panganiban.

The suspects sold a medium sachet of shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay (village) Luklukan Sur at around 11:20 a.m.

Calubaquib said a total of 75 grams of shabu was confiscated from the suspects.

The suspects were placed in custody of the police to face charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
