‘Shabu’ worth over P1M seized in Olongapo City

At least 10 people were arrested after police carried out a series of anti-narcotics operations in this city, authorities said Monday, Dec 12.

OLONGAPO CITY- More than P1 million worth of alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) was confiscated early Tuesday, Jan. 31, in Barangay West Bajac-Bajac in this city.

The Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) said the drug haul was the result of a buy-bust operation, which led to the seizure of 149 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,007,080.

The OCPO said one was on the local drug watchlist.

The suspects will face charges of violating the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
