Drug trader yields over P12,000 ‘shabu’ in Olongapo

OLONGAPO CITY–An alleged illegal drug trader in this city was arrested during the intensified local anti-narcotics campaign, police said Monday, Jan. 9.
In a report, the Olongapo City Police Office (OCPO) said the unnamed suspect was arrested on Jan. 7 during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Rita.
During the sting operation, the suspect sold a sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover agent.
Police eventually recovered four sachets of shabu, valued at P12,920, and the marked money used during the operation.
The suspect was immediately placed in the custodial facility of the local drug enforcement unit. INQ
