17 nabbed in weeklong drive vs illegal drugs in Olongapo City

OLONGAPO CITY — Seventeen people were arrested as more than P39,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) was seized during a series of anti-narcotics operations in this city recently.
In a report Friday, the Olongapo City Police (OCPO) said 17 people were also arrested during the operations that were carried out from January 15–21.
The weeklong operations resulted in the confiscation of 5.8 grams of shabu worth P39,562, the OCPO said.
During the same period, six most wanted persons were also arrested following the local police’s manhunt operations in the city.
