2 PAF pilots killed as plane crashes in Bataan
CITY OF BALANGA, Bataan — A Philippine Air Force aircraft crashed Wednesday morning in Pilar town in this province, killing its two pilots.
The police said the PAF aircraft Marchetti SF260, with tail number 29-01, crashed at 10:42 a.m. in the middle of the rice field at Sitio (sub-village) Tabon in Barangay Del Rosario.
Citing witnesses, investigators said the plane was seen “descending fast” before it crashed into the rice field.
Police have yet to release the names of the victims, whose bodies were taken to the Martinez Funeral Homes in Pilar. INQ
