BACOLOD CITY — More than 100 water refilling stations and 10 commercial establishments in this city face closure for lack of business permits.

City Legal Officer Romeo Carlos Ting Jr. said they would no longer issue closure notices because these erring establishments had been notified last year.

“If the water refiling stations failed to obtain business permits in 2022, they cannot use the excuse that they are still on process,” Ting said.

The City Legal Office (CLO) and the Business and Licensing Division would enforce the closures soon, he said.

Ting said the CLO had sent notices to more than 200 water refilling stations last year, but more than half failed to secure business permits.

Aside from the water refilling stations, 10 commercial establishments had been given notices of closure for failure to obtain business permits, he added.
