OLONGAPO CITY — More than P1.9 million worth of illegal drugs were seized during the weeklong operations of policemen in Central Luzon, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said Tuesday, Dec. 20.
In a report, the PRO3 said the 78 anti-narcotics operations from Dec. 11 to Dec. 17 also resulted in the arrest of 119 drug suspects.
A total of P1,995,171 worth of illegal drugs, mostly “shabu” (crystal meth), were confiscated during the period.
Police’s regionwide manhunt operations also saw the arrest of 130 most wanted persons last week.
According to the PRO3, three more people were arrested for illegal possession of firearms, while 80 others were apprehended for illegal gambling during the same period.
