SANTIAGO CITY — A two-hour fire gutted a furniture shop and two houses in Lagawe town, Ifugao province on Monday evening (Dec. 19), leaving P2 million worth of damage, authorities said.

The blaze broke out at the furniture shop in Barangay (village) Cudog around 11 p.m. and eventually razed the neighboring houses, fire investigators said.

No one was hurt in the fire, which was extinguished around 1 a.m. the following day.

Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire.
